Why does the credit score on Credit Hero differ from other credit monitoring apps?

Different credit monitoring apps may use slightly different scoring models or data sources, leading to minor variations. We utilize Credit Hero Score (www.creditheroscore.com), a reliable and comprehensive scoring model, to accurately track your progress and ensure we are improving your credit across all major scoring models.

How and where do I upload my documents?

We provide a secure online portal for convenient document upload. After signing up, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from The Informed Consultant with the address no-reply@secureclientaccess.com. This email will contain detailed instructions on how to access and use the portal. Be sure to check your spam folder as well, just in case the email lands there.

Is the credit monitoring service included in your program or is there an additional cost?

Please note that the credit monitoring service is not included in our credit repair fee. However, we are integrated with two top-tier credit monitoring providers:


Credit Hero Score: Available for a discounted rate of $19.95/month for our clients.

IdentityIQ Secure Max: Also available at a discounted rate of $29.95/month for our clients.

Both services provide comprehensive credit monitoring and additional identity theft protection features.


To ensure a smooth and efficient credit repair process, we require you to have an active credit monitoring service. This allows us to access your updated credit reports monthly and avoid any delays in disputing inaccurate or negative items.

How often can I expect updates on my credit progress?

We send you email updates on your credit progress approximately every 30 to 45 days. If you haven't received an update within this timeframe, please feel free to reach out to our support team at support@teaminformed.com.


You can also log in to your secure client access portal anytime to see the progress made on your accounts. Additionally, your chosen credit monitoring service will typically provide updates every 30 days, allowing you to track changes to your credit report in real-time.

Which credit monitoring service do you recommend or require?

We are integrated with Credit Hero Score and IdentityIQ Secure Max, so we recommend choosing one of these two providers for your credit monitoring needs. This ensures seamless integration and allows us to access your credit information efficiently.


If you opt for IdentityIQ, it's important to subscribe to their Secure Max plan. This specific plan provides us with your updated credit report every 30 days, which is crucial for us to effectively monitor your progress and process disputes promptly.

Both Credit Hero Score and IdentityIQ Secure Max offer comprehensive credit monitoring and valuable identity theft protection features. The choice ultimately depends on your individual preferences and budget.

What if my current address is different from the one on my credit report?

Here's what you need to do:


Provide Proof of Address: Please send us a copy of a recent utility bill (such as gas, electric, water, or cable), bank statement, or another official document that clearly shows your current name and address.

Credit Progress

I received a "stall letter" from the credit bureaus, what should I do?

Forward the stall letter to us immediately. These letters can be part of the process, and we'll handle the necessary response to keep your disputes moving forward.

How soon can I expect to see improvements in my credit score?

Results vary, but many clients start seeing positive changes within the first few months. We'll provide personalized estimates based on your unique situation.


Please note that certain negative items can take longer to be removed from your credit report, depending on the type:


Collection accounts: 3 to 6 months

Charge-off accounts: 6 to 9 months

Evictions and repossessions: 12 to 18 months

Public records and liens: 12 to 18 months
